Athlete of the Week: A Most Memorable Week for Rich Central's Clark

Rich Central baseball player Kyle Clark had quite the week.

He went 7-for-7 at the plate, helping the Olympians erase a three-game losing streak and get back to their winning ways.

On Friday he signed a letter of intent to play at Kentucky State University in the fall, and later that day he attended his senior prom.

To top it all off, Clark graduated from Rich Central on Sunday.

After Rich Central lost its third game in a row last Monday to Crete-Monee, Clark sparked the offense in a blowout of Rich South on Tuesday, going 4-f0r-4 with four RBIs. Then in Thursday’s home victory over rival Bloom Township, he went 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run.

"I am just trying to help my team out any way I can," Clark said.
