Position breakdownInfield: Geena Locicero, sophomore, first baseman. Last year, Locicero earned all-conference honors after hitting .354 with a school-record of six home runs. Amber Dilbeck, senior, shortstop; Jocelyn Herzic, junior, third baseman.

Outfield: Toni Formentini, junior, center fielder. Last season, Formentini was an all-conference pick. She hit .377 and scored 36 runs. Brittany Cox, senior, left field. Cox earned all-conference honors after hitting .324.
Pitching staff: Twietmeyer said Trojans' pitching staff remains a work in progress.
Catcher: Jenna Amazzalorso, sophomore. Amazzalorso will be backed up by Amber Dilbeck.
Diamond gemsCoach Twietmeyer says: “The strength of our team will be the top of our lineup. We truly have some girls that have the potential to become successful college ball players.”
College recruits: Bloom graduated three college ballplayers. Twietmeyer hopes to continue that trend this year by sending more of her standouts on to the collegiate ranks.
