Marian Notches Narrow Girls Lacrosse, Water Polo Victories

Girls LaCrosse: Marian 9, Nazareth 8

Shelby Cosman scored five times to ignite host Marian Catholic to a 9-8 decision over Nazareth Academy on Monday. The Spartans (7-8) also got goals from Sam Kinder (assist), Breah Berg, Ashley Pradhan and Sara Pustai.

Kirsten Videka totaled eight saves in goal for Marian.

Girls Water polo: Marian 12, Schaumburg 11

Marian Catholic jumped to an early 5-1 command and held on for a Senior Night win in Schaumburg Monday. The Spartans were led by Paige Wieser (six goals, three assists, six steals).
