Meet the Business Manager of Bloom Township High School District 206, Ann Williams, who recently completed her doctoral degree from Roosevelt University.

Ann Williams, Ed.D., SFO
Ann recently completed her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Roosevelt University. Her dissertation topic was “The school business official’s role in maintaining financial solvency during challenging economic times.” Ann is also internationally certified as an administrator of school finance and operations.
A frequent presenter at education conferences at the state and international level, Ann also serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Association of School Business Officials. With more than ten years’ experience in finance and operations, Ann is also an adjunct professor for several universities.

Prior to working in education, Ann worked in the private sector as a corporate finance manager. Ann has a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. Ann’s personal interests include mountain climbing, consulting religious organizations, mentoring youth, and real estate.
Ann Williams was born and raised in Chicago Heights. During her adolescent years, she moved to University Park but remained active in the Chicago Heights community through work, church and her extended family. Ann even worked at Brown’s Chicken (both at the Joe Orr Rd. and Western Ave. locations) during high school. Her father retired from the Ford Stamping plant in Ford Heights and her mother worked at Chaneson’s Office supply in Chicago Heights.
