Stretching is great for your body, and it's good for your mind. It expands you and keeps you open for new growth.
Rubber bands come in different sizes, colors and shapes, but they all work on the same principle: They must be stretched to be effective. Like rubber bands, our personalities, talents, and gifts are different; we're also not effective unless we're stretched.
Stretching is great for your body, and it’s good for your mind. It expands you and keeps you open for new growth. Any time you step out to do something new, or to go beyond where you are today, there will be new challenges, obstacles and discouragement. But don’t let that stop you!
This process isn’t always easy -but it wasn’t meant to be easy. If everything were easy all the time, you wouldn’t stretch. You would never learn to recognize the seeds of greatness that are inside of you. These seeds would lie dormant, and you wouldn’t grow and press toward reaching new levels. Every time that you reach a new level, you will gain confidence and experience. Every experience that causes you to stretch builds your confidence. Gaining confidence is a journey that is achieved one step at a time through your experiences.

The more new situations you experience, the more you will stretch and the more confidence you will have. Sometimes stretching will be uncomfortable, but it prepares you to overcome anything on the road to your destiny!
So, why don't we stretch? I would guess that most of us try to avoid stretching due to Fear, Laziness, Low self-esteem or the Fear of being different.

I would encourage you to take a moment today and evaluate yourself. Ask yourself why is it that you're not stretching? Take this time to do some introspection and be honest as you sense the reasons for your complacency. If you're trying to avoid stretching, begin to regroup and see yourself taking the next step toward your purpose4living!
