Cinco de Mayo Program at Garfield School

An elaborate Cinco de Mayo program, with children in Mexican festival costumes performing traditional Mexican songs and dances, will take place Thursday, May 5, from 8:15-10 a.m. at  Garfield School, 140 E. 23rd St., Chicago Heights.

This annual event features authentic Mexican celebration performances by Garfield students.

The Cinco de Mayo program, which is open to the community, attracts a full house audience.
