On March 28, Prairie State College will bring the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour to Chicago Heights to inspire youth and young adults to create their own path during one of the worst economic downturns in 80 years.
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour – the first ever collegiate entrepreneur tour – includes keynotes, exhibits, workshops, and question-and-answer sessions with young entrepreneurs. Students will brainstorm with business professionals and meet like-minded students through networking events.
The event is committed to helping both students and members of the community succeed in the changing economy, and both are invited to take part in the day’s events, which begin at 3 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. and will be held at PSC’s Business and Community Education Center. In conjunction with the Coleman Foundation, Prairie State College is presenting EET.
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour: Dream Big! is presented in partnership with the Free Enterprise Campaign with additional support from Inc. Magazine. Founded by award-winning entrepreneurs Michael Simmons and Sheena Lindahl when they were just 25-years-old, the tour is comprised of many of America’s top young entrepreneurs who've made, earned, or sold a company for millions and/or made a huge impact before the age of 30.

This event will provide inspiration and practical advice. Both emerging entrepreneurs and students of all disciplines are invited to attend to learn how they can apply the entrepreneurial mindset to their lives regardless of career choice.
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour has held more than 150 events throughout the country and has attracted more than 600 people at tour events.
Lindahl and Simmons have both received numerous business awards: Lindahl was named by Business Week as one of the country's top 25 entrepreneurs under 25 and Simmons received entrepreneur of the year awards from the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Fleet, and the National Coalition for Empowering Youth Entrepreneurship.
