PSC to Honor Graduating Veterans with Stole Ceremony

Prairie State College will honor its graduating student veterans with a Stole Ceremony at 6 p.m. on May 19 at the main campus of PSC, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
        
The ceremony will recognize graduating veterans for their academic achievement and award them ceremonial stoles in gratitude for their service to the country.
        
"Returning to school and civilian life can be a big adjustment for men and women in uniform," said Veterans Affairs Coordinator and Scholarship Advisor Carissa Davis. "This ceremony honors their service and celebrates their accomplishment in furthering their educations."
