K9 Cop Tracks Down Same Suspect Twice In A Month
K9 Tucker is hailed by the Park Forest Police Department after helping police arrest the same person twice in a two-week span.

PARK FOREST, IL - Police in Park Forest are hailing the recent efforts of Tucker, their K9 officer. Just last week, K9 Tucker tracked down a minor accused of stealing a car and just two weeks before that tracked down the same person who was then wanted for a carjacking that occurred in a nearby town.
In the most recent incident, which police say occurred near Wildwood and Westgate drives in Park Forest around 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 28, a police officer attempted to stop a stolen car but the driver sped away, lost control of the car and struck a tree. The officer took a juvenile passenger into custody right away, but the driver fled on foot.
That's when Tucker was able to track him to a nearby garage, where police say he was found barricaded behind a number of storage boxes. He was arrested and later charged in juvenile court for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer and other felonies and misdemeanors.
