Keller Williams Preferred Realty Celebrates Red Day

On Thursday, May 12th, the 450 members of Keller Williams Preferred Realty, located in Orland Park, IL, participated in Red Day, an annual, company-wide day spent serving charitable organizations in the community. This year, staff and agents donated their time to South Suburban PADS and the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno.

South Suburban PADS, or public access delivery shelter, has served more than 15,000 men, women, and children since their opening over 26 years ago. This organization provides shelter, meals, medical assistance, and job trainig to those in need. It was here that participants in Red Day helped with landscaping, painting walls, and installing door frames. A donation of 6 computers and 2 printers was also made so guests at the faciility can create and print resumes for employment.

At the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno, agents and staff of Keller Williams Preferred Realty spent time washing windows, staining and sealing benches, and interacting with the residents. The home is located on a 122 acres and can provide care for up to 294 skilled care and special needs veterans. The facility also has a separate program focusing on homeless veterans.
