5K Run Will Benefit South Suburban Humane Society

HOMEWOOD, IL - A May 5K race in Homewood will raise money for the South Suburban Humane Society. The Paws for a Cause 5K series will return to the village on Saturday, May 12 for a twilight 5K run/walk. The benefit series has another Chicagoland event planned this year coming on July 14 in Hoffman Estates.

The event will start at 5 p.m. Post-race treats and refreshments will be available in Martin Avenue Square.

Sponsors are Tito's Handmade Vodka and their Vodka for Dog People program. The Village of Homewood is listed as a co-host on the race's Facebook event page.
