
MANHATTAN, IL - The First Bank of Manhattan has released a job opening for a full-time operations/accounting trainee. The following listing was sent to Patch:
"This associate will be responsible for processing routine work in accordance with the bank’s Operational processes and procedures. Operational areas will include Wire Transfer, ACH, and Core Processing. This person will also develop a full working knowledge of all electronic and deposit products currently offered by the bank and assist in trouble shooting any issues customers may be having. This person will be tasked with assisting the bank’s accounting area with completing monthly and/or quarterly regulatory and internally-required financial reports. An Operations/Accounting Trainee will also support, as the need arises, Loan Accounting Operations. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, accounting classes recommended Skills: Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, ability to work independently and perform varied assignments with frequent deadlines, strong computer skills with Word/Excel required.
