Man Charged With Retail Theft At Home Depot 2 Days In A Row

A 42-year-old from Lansing was charged with retail theft on consecutive days at the Home Depot in Homewood.

HOMEWOOD, IL - A man who made a stop at the Home Depot in Homewood on back-to-back days earlier this month was arrested for retail theft both times. Paul Bryant, 42, of Lansing was charged with the crime at 1:29 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 4:42 p.m. on Dec. 7.

In the Dec. 6 incident, Homewood police say Bryant concealed items and exited the store without making payment for merchandise which had a total retail value of $647. The next day, police say he returned to the store at 17845 S. Halsted St. and exited without making payment for merchandise which had a total retail value of $269.
