Retail Theft

David Burnette, 51, of South Holland was charged with retail theft at 1:56 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Burnette concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $299.34.

Ronald Brown, 39, of Phoenix was charged with retail theft at 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 24 at Jewel, 3153 W. 183rd St. Brown placed items in a shopping cart and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $295.65.

Davonte Kendall, 27, of Lansing was charged with retail theft at 5:36 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Kendall concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $60.21.

Kristen Meadows, 32, of Sauk Village was charged with retail theft at 10:28 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Kohl's, 17620 S. Halsted St. Meadows concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $179.98.

Ronnie Mitchell, 48, of Chicago Heights was charged with retail theft at 4:12 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Target, 17605 S. Halsted St. Mitchell concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $68.97.

Jeremy Hill, 34, of Joliet was charged with retail theft at 12:58 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Jewel, 3153 W. 183rd St. Hill concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $155.88.

Flee And Elude Police

Dejanae Jones, 19, of University Park was charged with flee and elude police and having no driver's license during a traffic stop at Ridge Road and Halsted Street at 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 20.

DUI

George Schmal, 61, of Glenwood was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic crash in the 1500 block of 187th Street at 10:16 p.m. on Feb. 22.
