PARK FOREST, IL -- A shooting incident that took place at a park in Park Forest Monday night is under investigation, police said. Two homes are believed to have been struck in the incident reported at Somonauk Park in the village at 9:30 p.m. No one was injured, but police say several individuals have been taken into custody and were questioned as the investigation continued through Tuesday. Police believe the incident was a result of a dispute between two groups. Anyone who may have additional information about this incident is urged to call the Park Forest Police Department's Investigations Unit at 708-748-1309.
