Fans sat in the bleachers up on the hill overlooking center field and took in the action in Marian Catholic's 6-2 regional semifinal setback to Oak Lawn.

The Bleacher Bums were out. The Weather Man Cooperated. But Marian Catholic's defense did not.

Marian Catholic was charged with five errors in the fifth inning of a 6-2 baseball setback to Oak Lawn in semifinal play at the Class 4A St. Laurence Regional. Oak Lawn scored five runs in the inning to overturn a 2-1 deficit.

Marian Catholic was limited to two hits, one by Brett Lilek and the other by Richard Cervantes. Robert Nunn pitched well enough to win. He allowed four hits and struck out six.

Oak Lawn was paced by Alex Krupa's 2-for-4 effort. He tripled and scored two runs.
