Olympians unable to find any offensive firepower in a recent 4-0 girls soccer setback to Manteno.

As the sun settled over Rich Central's playing field, the Olympians' girls soccer team struggled to keep up with Manteno in a recent match that was defined by cold conditions and an equally cold Rich Central offensive output.

While the Olympians showed a lot of heart on the field, their inability to connect passes and move the ball down the field led to a 4-0 setback.

While coach Nic Jones was disappointed by the loss, he remained optimistic about Rich Central's potential.

“They are hard-working, hard-nosed girls," he said. "They don’t complain and that’s all I can ask for. The commitment is there, but they are still learning (the game). Once they have that down, they will be better.”
