Sports Photo Gallery: Cool Day at Rich Central, But Trojans' Offense is Bloomin' Nonetheless

Well, look what's bloomin' now.

Jenna Amazzalorso's inside-the-park home run triggered a bloom in Bloom Township's offense as the Blazing Trojans rolled to a 15-1 softball victory over Rich Central in a recent meeting between the neighborhood rivals.

But, while the Olympians were down on the scoreboard, they were not out of spirit. They kept a chorus of friendly rival chants going late into the game.

Bloom's Erin Durish pitched a complete game for the win, allowing only one run in the April 12 game. Arienna Sherman scored the lone run for Rich Central. Check out the action.
