Sports Photo Gallery: Rich Central Tackles Heat During Summer Football Camp
Olympians focus on improving fundamental skills as the get set for the opening of a new season on Aug. 26 against Carver.
Working on fundamental aspects of the game, ranging from punt coverage to backfield handoffs, Rich Central players put in extra time during their July camp to improve their football game knowledge.
Rich Central coach Terrell Alexander spoke about the positives that came out of seven weeks of drills.
"It's been a good camp, a lot of learning technique and various plays," he said. "I see a lot of talent. We are poised to start the season."

As players pushed the blocking sled, freshman football coach Dwight Perry hit on the team's new motto. "It's not OK to be OK," he said.
The Olympians open the season on Aug. 26 against Chicago Carver. The first game for the freshman squad is Sept. 2.
