• 'Most Dangerous' Clarendon Hills Intersection Needs Improvement: Resident (patch.com) — A Clarendon Hills resident is urging safety improvements at the 55th Street and Western Avenue intersection, which he calls the village’s most dangerous, citing about eight crashes a year. The village is now asking DuPage County to install a pedestrian hybrid beacon with overhead red lights to help people safely cross, especially children and grandparents walking in the area.
