• Granite City Man Faces Felony In Collinsville Arson Case (riverbender.com subscription) — An alleged arson earlier this month left a Collinsville commercial building on Fairmont Avenue charred, and the Granite City man accused is now in Illinois state custody on a felony charge. Prosecutors say he knowingly set fire to the business without the owner’s consent, and a petition to deny his pretrial release has been filed as the case moves forward.
