• Residential fire in Sycamore ruled accidental (shawlocal.com) — Cortland firefighters were among several area departments who helped Sycamore crews contain an accidental residential fire on South Locust Street Saturday evening. No one was hurt, but officials estimate about $75,000 in damage after the blaze, found inside a wall, was brought under control in roughly two hours.
