• Survey: Women at Logan Correctional say prison is understaffed, unsanitary (wandtv.com) — Women incarcerated at Logan Correctional Center report serious understaffing, unsanitary conditions, and inadequate food as the state plans to move the prison population to a new facility in Crest Hill. Logan will stay open during construction, and officials have not yet announced when the Crest Hill prison will open, leaving timing and local impacts uncertain for residents.
