• Federal grant funds ADA improvements at Marquette Heights Municipal Building (centralillinoisproud.com) — Federal grant money is helping upgrade accessibility at the Creve Coeur Community Center, with about $25,000 going toward improved doors as part of a broader county effort. The same funding program also paid for a fully repaved, safer parking lot at Marquette Heights’ main polling place and other improvements in Mackinaw, all aimed at making in-person voting easier for residents with mobility challenges.
