1 Killed in Fox Lake Crash
The two-vehicle crash has closed the intersection of Route 12 and Route 134 in Fox Lake.
FOX LAKE, IL - One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Fox Lake Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened at about 1:08 p.m. at the intersection of Route 12 and Big Hollow Road when a 2000 Buick LeSabre heading north on Route 12 ran into the back of a stopped truck with a flatbed trailer, police said.
One person was taken to Centegra Hospital following the crash and pronounced dead, according to a Fox Lake Police Department news release.
There were no other injuries. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The Major Crash Assistance Team of Lake County was called and is investigating the accident scene. The intersection of Route 12 and Route 134 have been closed as authorities investigate the crash.
