108 Tickets Issued During McHenry County Labor Day Traffic Detail
During the detail, the McHenry County Sheriff's Office issued 40 tickets for seat belt violations and 34 tickets for speeding.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The results are in from a recent traffic safety campaign held over the Labor Day holiday.
During the detail, the McHenry County Sheriff's Office issued 108 citations, including 40 tickets for seat belt violations, 10 electronic communication citations and three suspended registration tickets, according to a news release.
The sheriff's office also issued three tickets for a suspended or revoked license, one ticket for no valid driver's license, nine uninsured motorist citations, 34 speeding tickets and eight other citations for various traffic offenses.

The Illinois Click It or Ticket campaign is administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation with federal highway safety funds.
