14-Year-Old Dies After Dirt Bike Crashes Into SUV In Wauconda: Police
The teen was taken to a hospital after the Tuesday night crash on North Main Street, where he later died, according to authorities.
WAUCONDA, IL — A 14-year-old boy died after the dirt bike he was riding collided with an SUV in Wauconda Tuesday night, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street, according to the Wauconda Police Department. Police said the dirt bike collided with a northbound sport utility vehicle.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

The SUV driver, a 44-year-old woman, and her passenger were not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
