2 in Custody in Shooting of McHenry Man in Wisconsin

​David A. Bauspies, 36, was found dead in a home in East Troy, Wis., on Monday afternoon.

A 36-year-old McHenry man was killed in a Wisconsin shooting Monday and authorities are now seeking homicide charges against two suspects.

David A. Bauspies was found dead after police in East Troy, Wis., received a report of gunshots coming from a home, according to the Northwest Herald. Robert Sterling, 31, of McHenry and Tyler Odell, 22, of East Troy, have been arrested in connection with Bauspies’ death.

Both men appeared in Walworth County Court on Tuesday “on tentative charges related to reckless homicide,” the Gazette Xtra reports. District Attorney Zeke Wiedenfeld told the newspaper Sterling has been referred to the district attorney’s office on charges of homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon and reckless homicide while Odell was referred on a charge of suspicion of party to reckless homicide.
