2 Injured In McHenry Co. Motorcycle Crash
The driver of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old Hebron man, was seriously injured in the crash Saturday night, authorities said.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 20-year-old Hebron man was seriously injured and a 21-year-old McHenry woman sustained minor injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday near Harvard. The collision occurred at 8:38 p.m. when a 2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle heading north on Oak Grove Road near Ramer Road in unincorporated Harvard went off the road and into a ditch, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
The motorcycle driver, a 20-year-old Hebron man, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was taken by helicopter to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford with serious injuries, authorities said.
A passenger on the motorcycle, the McHenry woman, was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was taken by ambulance to Northwestern Hospital in Huntley with minor injuries.
