3 Dogs Saved From Blaze in Burtons Bridge
The fire broke out Wednesday morning after an explosion was heard in the garage area of the home.
BURTONS BRIDGE, IL — Three dogs were saved from a house fire Wednesday morning in Burtons Bridge, the Northwest Herald is reporting. The blaze broke out at the home in the 3800 block of McCabe Street at about 10 a.m. and included the garage and a camper in front of the home.
An explosion was heard in the garage area just before the fire broke out, according to the news report.
A 28-year-old man was home when the fire started and was able to save two of the three family dogs from the fire, the newspaper reported. Firefighters found and rescued the third dog and treated the pet on the scene with oxygen.

No one was injured in the fire and the home is currently uninhabitable.
