3 Parades In Town Friday Afternoon Could Snarl Traffic
All three Crystal Lake high schools will be hosting homecoming parades this afternoon.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Drivers in Crystal Lake should expect traffic delays this afternoon as all three high schools in town are hosting their annual homecoming parades. All three parades will begin starting at 3 p.m. and roadways on the parade routes will be closed at least 15 minutes prior to the starts of the parades, according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Police Department.
The parades for Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake Central and Prairie Ridge high school homecomings are expected to last about an hour. More information on intersections and roadways that will be closed for each schools' parade route can be found below.

- Willow Tree Drive and Golf Course Road
- Golf Course Road and Loch Lomond Drive
- Golf Course Road and Ackman Road
- Golf Course Road and Weston Drive
