3 Teens Injured in Crash Near Harvard

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL - Two teens were flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital and a third teen was taken to Centegra Hospital after a crash Tuesday afternoon near Harvard, the Northwest Herald reports. The crash occurred when a 2010 Buick was heading west on Brink Street near Mt. Auburn Cemetery when it went off the road and struck a tree at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The driver was 16 years old and the passengers were 16 and 17 years old, according to the article. The driver was cited for violation of a graduated driver's license - unlawful number of passengers and failure to reduce speed.
