July 4th Fireworks This Weekend Near Crystal Lake, Cary

With July 4th falling in the middle of the week this year, the suburbs will be celebrating for several days in a row. That means, if you wanted to, you could check out a parade, fireworks and/or a July 4th festival within driving distance every day from Wednesday, July 3, through Thursday, July 4.

While some may be just down the road from you, other fests and fireworks will be a bit of a drive. Here is a look at the local July 4th festivities worth checking out in the coming days:

July 6

• Crystal Lake: Lakeside Fest will run from noon to 11 p.m. Friday will be Kids Day and there will be drinks and food, live music, a carnival and more. More via Your Guide to Lakeside Fest 2018.

July 7

• Crystal Lake: The final day of Lakeside Fest will run from noon to 10 p.m. There will be a parade, live music, food and drink, carnival and fireworks at dusk at Lakeside Arts Park at the Dole, 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake. More via Your Guide to Lakeside Fest 2018.
• Fox River Grove: Fireworks will be shot off at dusk at Picnic Grove Park, Birch Lane. The park opens at 5:30 p.m. Food and drink will be available for purchase. More via the village of Fox River Grove website.
• Hoffman Estates: Northwest Fest gets underway on the Fourth of July but fireworks will be shot off on July 7 at 9:30 p.m. at the Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway in Hoffman Estates. The festival also includes a carnival, petting zoo, musical entertainment, parade, food and drink and plenty of daily activities for the whole family. July 8

• Bartlett: Fourth of July parade steps off at 1 p.m. on July 8. The parade includes horses, floats, fire engines, bands, Shriners, Community Groups, and much more. The parade goes Oak Ave. from North Ave. south to Railroad Ave.; Railroad Ave. from Oak Ave. to Main St.; Main St. from Railroad Ave. to South Bartlett Rd.; South Bartlett Rd. from Main St. to Stearns Rd. The Bartlett Fourth of July Festival will be held from July 4 to July 8. The festival grounds are located at the corner of S. Stearns and S. Bartlett Road near the Bartlett Community Center, 700 S.
