Algonquin To Launch Inaugural Summer Festival At Spella Park In July
Algonquin Fest will feature live music, fireworks, food vendors and family activities July 24 to 26.
ALGONQUIN — The Village of Algonquin is inviting residents and visitors to mark their calendars for a new signature summer celebration as Algonquin Fest debuts this July at Spella Park.
The inaugural festival will run July 24 to 26 at 2610 Harnish Drive, bringing a full weekend of live entertainment, local food, family activities and small-town community spirit, according to a news release from the village of Algonquin. The fest will run from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Algonquin Fest will feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, a variety of local food offerings and community organizations showcasing services and activities. Families can also enjoy a carnival atmosphere as well as a dedicated kids’ area with attractions designed for all ages.

A lineup of Midwest tribute bands will headline the weekend. Performers include Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute on Friday, July 24; Maggie Speaks on Saturday, July 25; and 7th Heaven on Sunday, July 26. A fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday night, July 25.
