Village President Dan Dycus said a person who had made suicidal statements climbed a tower, and three negotiators were communicating with the person, Shaw Local is reporting. The sheriff's office and Wonder Lake Police Department are leading the response, while the Wonder Lake Fire Protection District and other agencies are also at the scene.
Meanwhile, Harrison School officials said the school was aware of the situation and that buses would be rerouted as needed and likely delayed Wednesday afternoon, according to Shaw Local.
