App Now Features Public Arts Tour In St. Charles
There are 20 different stops featured on the Travel St. Charles app public arts tour.

ST. CHARLES, IL — After the successful addition of a historic walking tour on the Travel St. Charles app, the St. Charles Business Alliance recently launched a public arts tour.
The St. Charles Public Arts tour features more than 20 different stops and feature various public art displays across the city, including sculptures, murals and more. St. Charles Arts Council President Sue McDowell share information about the public art, serving as the narrator for the public arts tour.
“St. Charles is home to an astounding amount of public art, many of which people may not know about,” McDowell said. “Getting to partner with the Alliance and promote the public art here in St. Charles was an amazing opportunity. We hope everyone can take the tour on the app.”

Jenna Sawicki, executive director for the St. Charles Business Alliance, said the collaborative effort will help to spread the word about public art on display in town.
“Art is so important to St. Charles and the unique culture we have here,” Sawicki said. “We love getting to showcase it for everyone to find all the amazing works we have here.”
