Art and Craft Options for All Ages Offered at the Crystal Lake Park District

From tots to seniors, the Crystal Lake Park District has art classes that appeal to people of all ages. Registration in advance is required for all classes. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Messy Fingers (ages 3-6)
Fine motor skills are so important. Art projects and games will be introduced to strengthen little fingers.

Creative Crochet (ages 16 & up)
Learn the basic stitches, how to read a pattern and get started on a simple project. Whether you are just learning or just need to brush up on your stitches, you’re never to old for this class. All materials are provided.

Adult Sip and Paint, Art Attack! (ages 18 & up)
Art Attack! is a social painting party. No talent is necessary. It is a fun way to unwind and create art. Fee includes 11 X 14 canvas and paint materials, art instruction and first beverage. Bring a friend or make a new one! Cash bar available.

Stained Glass (ages 18 & up)
A variety of beginner’s patterns will be offered. Class kit is available to rent or purchase supplies from the list provided online at www.crystallakeparks.org/programs/art

Make It Take It with Acrylic Paints (ages 55 & up)
The instructor will guide participants through the creation of an acrylic painting from start to finish. All abilities welcome and all supplies included. Bring a sack lunch.
