CRYSTAL LAKE, IL —Best-selling author David Sedaris will be returning to the Raue Center in November.

Sedaris will read from his latest book, Happy-Go-Lucky, which is a collection of autobiographical essays, during his Nov. 4 visit to the Raue, which begins at 8 p.m.

The essays touch on how Sedaris' life changed during the pandemic, and he also captures some of the most unexpected, hilarious and poignant moments about recent upheavals and expresses both the "misanthropy and desire for connection that drives us all," according to a news release from the Raue Center for the Arts.
