Coroner IDs Woman, 35, Killed by Metra Train
The 35-year-old Woodstock woman was struck and killed by a Metra train last month.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL - The McHenry County Coroner has identified a woman killed when she was struck by a Metra train in Woodstock last month. Renee E. Radwan, 35, of Woodstock, died from blunt trauma to the head, chest and abdomen, McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski said in a news release. She was hit by a Metra train in the 500 block of Lake Avenue in Woodstock on April 27.
Radwan is remembered by her friends and family as a kind and free spirit, according to her obituary. She was a "happy soul" who was incredibly social and fun-loving." She was an animal lover and loved to be outdoors.
Radwan's death remains under investigation by the McHenry County Coroner's Office and the Woodstock Police Department.
