Award-Winning Farmers Market To Soon Reopen For Summer Season

The Farmers Market+ At The Dole in Crystal Lake is set to start its outdoor summer season on Sunday, May 24.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Farmers Market+ At The Dole, an award-winning local market, is reopening for its outdoor summer season on Sunday, May 24.

The market, which first opened in 2018, has become a Crystal Lake favorite for fresh produce, artisan goods and family-friendly activities.

The first outdoor market of the season will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 24 on the historic Dole Mansion lawn, 401 Country Club Road. Visitors can check out:

  • Locally grown produce, flowers, and farm-fresh goods
  • Baked goods, handmade artisan products, and specialty foods
  • Food trucks with brunch and lunch options
  • Live acoustic music and entertainment
  • The Market+ bar serving brunch cocktails, coffee drinks, and more
  • Family-friendly activities, including face painting and balloon creations

After opening day, the Farmers Market+ will take place weekly on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through October 26. Admission is free and pets on leashes are welcome.
