LAKE COUNTY, IL — It appears Billy the Bison is still on the run.

Last week, a bison was spotted walking down a street in Hawthorn Woods and is presumably the same bison — who has been called both "Tyson the Bison" and "Billy the Bison" by her internet fans — spotted on several occasions in the far northwest suburbs over the past six months.

The bison escaped from her owner in September while being unloaded from a truck at Milk & Honey Farmstead in Wauconda.

On Friday, Vince Clemens saw the enormous animal outside his home in Hawthorn Woods, walking down the street, according to NBC 5. His daughter, Michelle, captured a video of the buffalo.

Bison sightings have been reported by police and residents over social media various times since the animal escaped. Police urge residents not to approach or chase the bison if they spot her.
