Blaze Damages 3-Car Garage In Crystal Lake
The cause of the fire Saturday afternoon on Pomeroy Avenue remains under investigation.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — No one was injured in a garage fire in Crystal Lake Sunday afternoon.
The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department responded to the blaze in the 100 block of Pomeroy Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Firefighters first at the scene found heavy fire conditions in a detached garage behind a two-story structure, according to a news release.
There were three vehicles inside the garage at the time of the fire, and several additional fire departments were called to the scene to help battle the blaze, which took more than two hours to extinguish, according to the news release.

The three-car garage and contents inside the garage sustained heavy fire, heat, smoke and water damage.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
