Blaze Damages Commercial Building In Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The one was injured in a fire at a multi-unit commercial building Thursday morning.

The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department was called to the building in the 300 block of Prairie Street at about 6:10 a.m., and fire crews were able to get the fire under control by 6:50 a.m. The blaze damaged the commercial unit where the fire was found and caused smoke damage to three adjacent commercial units.

The estimated cost of the damages is $30,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
