Boat Driver Charged In DUI Crash Near Snuggery: Officials

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 49-year-old Wadsworth man faces a driving under the influence charge following a crash on Labor Day along the Fox River in McHenry.

The Daily Herald is reporting Dagoberto Villarreal-Galvan missed a sharp turn in the river near the waterfront of the Snuggery River Roadhouse in McHenry and crashed into a guardrail, Jayette Bolinski, director of communications for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, wrote in an email. At least two passengers were injured in the incident.
