Boy Hospitalized After Shooting at Mundelein Apartment: Police
Authorities are investigating the shooting, which occurred Saturday night.
MUNDELEIN, IL — A boy was taken to the hospital Saturday night following a shooting inside an apartment in Mundelein, authorities said. The Daily Herald reports officers first responded to the apartment in the 200 block of Longwood Terrace at 8:33 p.m.
Police found the boy with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition, according to the news report. The Lake County Major Crimes Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
