Brothers Face Drug Charges for Selling Marijuana: Police
A search of a Fox River Grove home on Thursday turned up over 756 grams of marijuana, according to police.

FOX RIVER GROVE, IL - Two brothers face several drug charges following a month-long investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force.
Samual B. Cassidy, 24, has been charged with unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts of unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His older brother, Caleb M. Cassidy, 28, unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a McHenry County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Last Thursday, authorities with the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force and the United States Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Task Force served a search warrant on a residence in the 400 block of Algonquin Road in Fox River Grove following a month-long investigation. Police received multiple tips from the community concerned about possible criminal activity at the home.

During the investigation, undercover detectives allegedly purchased marijuana from Samuel B. Cassidy, 24, of Fox River Grove, according to a news release.
The brothers, who are both from Fox River Grove, were arrested on Thursday after detectives searched the Fox River Grove home and seized 756.3 grams of cannabis, packaging material, a scale, 8
Alprazolam pills, and $1,895 in cash. Detectives estimate the street value of the narcotics seized to be approximately $15,182.00, according to the news release.
