Burglars Break Into Kohl's, Steal Merchandise: Police
The Crystal Lake Police Department is investigating the burglary, which happened early Friday at the Kohl's at 5420 Northwest Highway.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Authorities in Crystal Lake are asking for the public's help in tracking down the burglars who broke into the Kohl's in Crystal Lake early Friday, stole merchandise from the store and then fled.
Authorities say they were notified of an alarm sounding at the Kohl's, 5420 Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake, at about 2 a.m., according to a news release from the police department. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the front glass of the business had been broken. Police say the thieves had made off with an unknown amount of merchandise.
Authorities are investigating the burglary and all leads as they develop, and no additional information was immediately available.
