Burglars Break Into Walgreens In Cary
The two men got away with various items valued at $2,000, police said.

CARY, IL — The Cary Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down two men accused of breaking into a Walgreens in Cary and stealing $2,000 worth of items, authorities said.
The armed robbery happened at about 3:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Walgreens at 500 W. Northwest Highway, according to a news release from the Cary Police Department. Responding officers learned two men broke the glass on the front door of the business with a hammer and entered the store, according to authorities.
They damaged the inside of the store and stole various items valued at about $2,000, according to a news release from the Cary Police Department.

Surveillance video showed both men fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
Police say both men were 20 to 30 years old. Their race is not known and both were wearing black pants, according to a news release.

One man was wearing a dark-colored Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt and had a brown bun-style hairdo with shorter hair on the sides of his head. The other man was waring a dark-colored, possibly blue, Under Armor sweatshirt and had long dark-colored hair.
