Burlington Plans to Open Crystal Lake Store in Coming Weeks
The 58,000-square-foot store will be located in a former Toys "R" Us store.

Burlington, a discount apparel and home good retailer, plans to open its new Crystal Lake by the end of this month, according to information published in the city of Crystal Lake’s August newsletter.
The new 58,000-square-foot store will open at the Commons Shopping Center on Northwest Highway in a space formerly occupied by Toys “R” Us. It will also take up an adjacent vacant space formerly occupied by Marshall’s, the Northwest Herald reports.

The store will bring nearly 100 new jobs to Crystal Lake, according to the newsletter. Construction is nearing completion and the store, located at 6120 Northwest Highway, is expected to open at the end of August.
“We are thrilled to open a new Burlington in the Crystal Lake community, bringing even more jobs to the neighborhood and providing local residents with a valued shopping experience,” said Tom Kingsbury, chairman and CEO of Burlington Stores, in a July press release.

The Crystal Lake Burlington will be the 30th location in Illinois.
