CRYSTAL LAKE, IL.  Twenty years ago, the founders of Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters started with a simple, heartfelt belief: that a truly great cup of coffee has the power to slow us down, bring us together, and turn an ordinary moment into something special. Today, the family-owned roastery is thrilled to invite the public to celebrate two decades of this shared journey at their 20th Anniversary Celebration.

Conscious Cup has built a legacy rooted in ethical craft and deep human connection. From the family farmers at the point of origin to the loyal guests in their cafes, every cup served has been a testament to their dedication to people and specialty-grade coffee. Roasting specialty coffee in Crystal Lake since 2006, now operating five cafés, a catering and wholesale program, and a Roasting Lab sourcing directly from farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and beyond. The work is guided by a belief that doing well and doing good aren't competing goals; they're the same goal, measured over twenty years and counting.
